In tonight's Caps/Maple Leafs tilt, Jeff Schultz netted his first career NHL goal. Michael Nylander found Shultz in the high slot, Schultz then ripped a wrist shot over the stick side shoulder of Maple Leaf goaltender Vesa Toskala. Congrats to Jeff on his hard earned 1st NHL goal. Oh by the way the Caps won the game 7-1.

According to Mike Vogel's blog Alex Semin has been signed through the 2009-2010 seasons. Semin will be making $4.2 mil in 08-09 and $5 mil in 09-10.
